N1–N6
Levels N1 through N6 are covered by the NATED N1-N6 Electrical Engineering / Heavy Current qualification, which is intended to give both the theory and an optional practical component. After working in your field of study for 24 months (or 2000 working hours), you can obtain a National Certificate or Diploma. This qualification consists of two optional practical components, beginners level (completed between N1-N3) and advanced (completed between N4-N6), and one required element (the N1-N6 theory).
The goal of this certification is to increase the knowledge and abilities needed by workers in all kinds of mechanical engineering settings (across numerous economic sectors), which will benefit the qualifying learner in terms of personal growth, status, and recognition.
Eligibility
Grade 10 (Std 8) Certificate with a passing grade in math and physical science is required for N1 admission.Grade 11 (Std 9) Certificate with a passing mark in maths and physical science, or N2, is required for admission to N3.Matric/Grade 12 (with full mathematics and science 40%+ Pass rate) or N3 Pass (with mathematics and science) are prerequisites for N4 entry.NOTE: Only move on to the following level (N4 for N5, etc.) after completing the previous one successfully.
