Electrical Engineering: Light Current theory and an optional practical component are provided by the N1–N6 Light Current qualification, which covers levels N1–N6. After working in your field of study for 24 months (or 2000 working hours), you can obtain a National Certificate or Diploma. One compulsory component (N1–N6) and two elective practical components—beginners level (completed between N1–N3) and advanced (completed between N4–N6)—make up this qualification.
Eligibility
Grade 10 (Std 8) Certificate with a passing grade in math and physical science is required for N1 admission.Grade 11 (Std 9) Certificate with a passing mark in maths and physical science, or N2, is required for admission to N3.Matric/Grade 12 (with full mathematics and science 40%+ Pass rate) or N3 Pass (with mathematics and science) are prerequisites for N4 entry.NOTE: Only move on to the following level (N4 for N5, etc.) after completing the previous one successfully.
The goal of this certification is to give students, instructors, and employers the standards and breadth of knowledge needed to function well in a variety of industries, utilising electrical engineering expertise to meet the demands of such a setting.
