Electrical Engineering (N1 - N6)

Both light and heavy current disciplines—such as digital and industrial electronics—are covered by the N1–N3 National Certificates in Electrical Engineering. Heavy current fields include electricity and home wiring. After finishing your entry-level coursework, you can work toward a particular electrical engineering certification. The National N-Diploma in Electrical Engineering is divided into two parts: two years of industry-related experience and a theoretical component (N4–N6). While each certificate stands alone as a qualification, obtaining them all is necessary for full qualification.

The goal of this certification is to give students, instructors, and employers the standards and breadth of knowledge needed to function well in a variety of industries, utilizing electrical engineering expertise to satisfy the demands of such
